
An ancient shepherd world is unveiled at the Hajdúsági Museum

The exhibition “Face to Face Taran – The Five Thousand Year Old Shepherd” has opened.

The latest temporary archaeological exhibition at the Hajdúsági Museum, titled ‘Face to Face with Taran – The 5,000-Year-Old Shepherd’, was opened in a ceremonial setting. The exhibition was officially opened by János Dani, Associate Professor at the Department of Archaeology, University of Szeged.
The exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to closely explore the lifestyle, material heritage, and culture of shepherd communities that lived 5,000 years ago. As part of the exhibition, visitors can also watch a short film in which three researchers from HUN-REN ATOMKI present the investigations carried out at our institute.
